Melissa Itzkowitz (b. 1991) is a New York-based photographer with a particular interest in visual ethnography. Her work attends to the quiet, ordinary things of everyday life and the ways in which those moments of quiet both create and break down feelings of home. Melissa has a BA in anthropology from Barnard College and an MA in anthropology from the University of Chicago.
